This uke may be of a shape you've not seen before. The "pineapple" shape is not as common as the "miniature guitar" shape but has just as long a history. The extra surface area and internal volume translates to a warmer tone and more actual volume! This particular example from our new brand Enya is constructed from a modern, part-synthetic material called HPL which has an astonishingly warm sound for a space-age material and can easily be mistaken for the sound of real wood!
